FranklinWH aPower 2: New System Setup Guide

To turn on a FranklinWH aPower 2 system, go in this order: solar breaker, all disconnects, the combiner panel (only with multiple batteries), the aGate's red power switch and breakers, your solar inverter, then the power button on each battery. Finish by setting up the FranklinWH app with the email Icon Power has on file.

  3. Turn on the combiner panel (only if you have more than one battery)
  4. Power on the aGate system controller
  5. Turn on your solar inverter
  6. Turn on your battery
  7. Set up the FranklinWH app

Tesla Powerwall 3: New System Setup Guide

To turn on a new Tesla Powerwall 3 system, switch on the PV breaker, all disconnects, the combiner panel (multiple batteries only) and the breakers inside the Tesla Gateway (if you have one), then flip the power switch on the left side of each Powerwall 3. The Tesla "T" logo should settle to a steady white glow. Finish by setting up the Tesla app.

  3. Turn on combiner panel breakers (multi battery systems only)
  4. Turn on breakers inside Tesla Gateway (only if applicable)
  5. Turn on Powerwall 3 battery unit(s)
  6. Verify the Powerwall light turns on
  7. Download and set up the Tesla app

Solar inverter

Tesla Inverter: New System Setup Guide

To turn on a new Tesla inverter system, switch on the solar breaker in your main panel, then flip the outdoor disconnect lever to ON. The Tesla inverter has no power switch and starts producing automatically. Track production in the Tesla app using the email address Icon Power has on file.

Solar inverter

SolarEdge Inverter: New System Setup Guide

To turn on a new SolarEdge system, switch on the PV breaker in your main service panel, flip the safety disconnect to ON, turn on the load center breakers (two-inverter systems only), then flip the power switch on each SolarEdge inverter to ON. Wait about 5 minutes and the system starts producing power automatically.

Enphase Inverter: New System Setup Guide

To turn on a new Enphase solar system, switch on the solar breaker in your main panel, turn the outdoor disconnect to ON, then open the Enphase combiner (IQ Controller) and make sure every breaker inside is ON. Allow up to 5 minutes for the status lights to come on and production to start.
