Solar in Enterprise
For many Enterprise homeowners, yes. Summers are long and hot, the AC runs for months, and NV Energy credits the solar you use at home at the full retail rate. Enterprise is an unincorporated town in Clark County, and many of its master-planned communities have an HOA, so we handle county permits and HOA approvals together.
Net metering
Enterprise homes are served by NV Energy through Nevada Power, its southern Nevada company. Here's how its solar rules work in 2026.
Each month, solar that offsets your own usage is credited at the full retail rate. That's where most of your savings come from.
Solar you send to the grid beyond what your home uses that month is credited at 75% of the retail rate under Nevada's 2017 net metering law (AB 405). That rate stays with the system at your address for 20 years.
NV Energy's daily demand charge for southern Nevada homes is scheduled to start January 1, 2027. It's based on your highest 15-minute usage each day, and the per-kWh energy rate drops when it begins. A battery can help keep those peaks down.
Based on Public Utilities Commission of Nevada decisions as of October 2026. The demand charge is still being challenged in court, so we confirm how the rules apply to your home in your quote.
Incentives
In Enterprise, most of the value of solar comes from your NV Energy bill, not from tax credits.
Tax treatment varies. Consult a tax professional.
Nevada doesn't have a state income tax, so there's no state solar tax credit. Your savings come from lower NV Energy bills.
NV Energy has offered home battery rebates through its Energy Storage Incentives program. Funding opens and closes, so we check what's available when we design your system.
The federal residential solar credit (Section 25D) ended for homeowner-purchased systems on December 31, 2025. If you'd rather not pay upfront, ask about our no-upfront-cost monthly battery program.
Battery storage
NV Energy's rules reward homes that use their own solar, and the 2027 demand charge will reward homes that keep usage peaks low. A battery helps with both.
A battery can cover your highest-usage moments, which will matter once the daily demand charge starts in 2027.
Store midday solar for the evening instead of exporting the extra at 75% credit.
Keep the fridge, lights and AC essentials running during summer outages.
How it works
We review your NV Energy bills, roof and goals, then design a system sized to how your home actually uses power.
We handle Clark County building permits, HOA paperwork and your NV Energy interconnection application.
One accountable team installs your system, supported by our Las Vegas office.
After inspection, NV Energy grants permission to operate (PTO), and we help you set up monitoring.
Service area
We install home solar and batteries in communities throughout Enterprise and the south valley.

Answers on NV Energy solar credits, demand charges, HOAs and permits in Enterprise.
For many homeowners, yes. Enterprise sunshine and high summer cooling bills make solar a good fit, and NV Energy credits the solar you use at the full retail rate. With a daily demand charge scheduled for 2027, the best value comes from a system sized to your home, often with a battery.
Your home uses your solar first. Each month, solar that offsets your usage is credited at the full retail rate, and any extra you export beyond that is credited at 75% of the retail rate. That 75% rate stays with the system at your address for 20 years.
It's a new charge for southern Nevada homes, scheduled to start January 1, 2027, based on your highest 15-minute usage each day. The per-kWh energy rate drops when it begins. Spreading out big loads and using a battery during peaks can help keep it down.
Nevada law limits how far an HOA can restrict rooftop solar, but most associations still ask you to submit plans for review. We prepare the HOA application with your layout and equipment details so it doesn't hold up your project.
No. Nevada has no state income tax, so there's no state solar tax credit. The federal residential solar credit (Section 25D) also ended for homeowner-purchased systems on December 31, 2025. Your savings come from lower NV Energy bills. Tax treatment varies. Consult a tax professional.
Enterprise is an unincorporated town, so Clark County issues residential solar permits. We prepare and submit the permit, schedule the county inspection, and then NV Energy grants permission to operate.
